Self-paced modules and reading to get you started on your journey as a Catalyst for you to complete before Week 1 of Live Sessions.
Week 1 - Evaluate Your Change Making
Skill-building begins by assessing where your skill is at today. Do you know your change making strengths and opportunity areas? Understand what gets in the way of successfully creating change, the attributes of the most effective change makers and identify your strengths and opportunity areas.
Week 2 - Visioning and Planning Action
The most effective change makers can clearly articulate the destination. Have you explicitly communicated the change you’d like to make and the steps to get there? Together we will build out your vision and the path to manifestation one action step at a time. Create an Action Map that outlines your vision and concrete steps to achieve that vision, with input from your Catalyst peer group.
Week 3 - Influence & Networks
Influence is at the heart of creating organizational change. Do you successfully influence without authority? And are you clear on exactly who you need to influence? Exercise ways to build influence and social capital, map your network to remove organizational blockers and develop the most important long-term allies to create change.
Week 4 - Breadcrumbing & Tracking Impact
Because Catalysts work between silos and on future-focused projects we can struggle to show our impact in ways our organization recognizes. How successfully can you speak to your impact and the steps it took to achieve it? Bring people along on the journey toward change by helping them understand the path, and track the impact you and your colleagues make.
Week 5 - Communication
Changemakers provoke resistance. What communication tools do you have when opposition arises? Explore ways to break through resistance and sharpen your storytelling skills, in both oral and visual communication.
Week 6 - Putting it All Into Practice
We close by celebrating what is already working and getting clear on what you’ll put into practice moving forward.
